Several years ago my mom gave me a great birthday gift- a front loading washer and dryer. While we were staying with Steve's sister this weekend, I did some laundry. Ellie and Karrigan were following me around, so I had them help me put the first load in. Ellie asked," Moma, is that one of those old time washers?" Yep, they had a top loader. I didn't realize that these girls have no memory of top loaders. They thought it was the neatest thing and asked lots of questions. Uncle Frankie put a magnet on the latch so they could watch the machine agitate the clothes, they thought it was the neatest thing. I think those girls stood there for about 10 minutes watching the clothes swish back and forth. I snuck up and got a photo of them.
