Pictures for Grandma

Mom, I was way behind on unloading the camera. Here's some new pictures for you to enjoy.

Our wonderful Goodwill had a sale where everything in the store was 1/2 off. We found a neat Knex set, with all it's pieces for $4 !!! Here's the boys working on one of the projects.

The completed water park and, well a headless child.

Karrigan at the hayride.

Help!! If a blogger could help me out, I'd appreciate it. Every time I add a picture, it puts it at the top, not where I want it. Do I have to load my pictures backwards?
Well I had a beautiful picture to put in here, but after trying to upload it 5 times, I'm done!! Oh, for high speed.

Yesterday I was reading with Karrigan in the recliner. I THOUGHT Philip was quietly doing his schoolwork on the carpert. Not so. When I turned around and stood up, I was faced with a row of about 10 Rescue Heroes, all standing at attention with their right arms raised and a sharpened green pencil in their upraised arms. He didn't get a scolding, it hit me too funny. Before I could get back with the camera, Philip had them in a battle, so that's what this is a picture of. I've started to get rid of the Rescue Heroes several times, sure that they had outgrown them. Wrong again. Thanks Aunt Arlene for recommending Rescue Heroes when they were little fellows.

  1. You should really get Windows Live Writer, it makes putting pictures in posts SOO much easier. Not perfect, but easier. =) I'm not sure how it works without highspeed though...i think i would die without highspeed. okay, not really, but I am a bit spoiled. haha.

  2. Tonya and family ~ our boys are 14 (almost 15) and 12 and we still have their rescue heros!!!! Can't say that I've seen them out lately but old sentimental mom has not seen fit to send them on their way ~ they're so durable and they shouldn't become outdated ~ who knows maybe my grandkids will like them if we keep them just a few more years! :)

  3. I load photos one at a time. Then move it to where I would like for it to be. Or... post all the photos first before you do the journaling. Keep up the good work. I love the photos!!!

  4. Love the pics! Braxton would love the knex set too! We are really into lincoln logs right now. Korbin actually like them, I build several cabins a day and he doesn't knock them over! It is amazing. he is so much calmer than Braxton, Braxton usually comes home from school and knocks the cabins over! LOL I am not sure about loading pics, I have the same problem as you. I guess you would have to put them in reverse order!

  5. i love the pictures. your kids are growing up! they are cute! the rescue heroes war was quite funny...and he was using his cognitive skills, so that's kinda educational... *wink*

my boys have the preschool version of the K-nex sets... but i think i'm more fond of them than they are...perhaps they will grow to love them in time.
